SELECTING THE BEST COLORS FOR YOUR HOME
The apparent first step before commencing any design is to create a color palette for your space. Choose colors and tones that make you feel most at ease. To make a space appear more opulent, use colors that mix nicely and complement one another rather than clashing. It may seem simple, but keeping your design to two (maximum of three) colors can help it stand out. It's easy to overthink design, but sometimes less is more. Add texture to the area once you've settled on a color scheme to make it more intriguing. The texture is important in space because it provides depth and offers a tactile sensation.
Include some history in your place to give it a feeling of history. The smallest aspect of history, whether ornate or an antique side table, may arouse interest in the place. One of our pet peeves is having the television as the main point of the room. If you want a more sumptuous look, consider concealing your television behind some woodwork or even artwork. If it isn't possible, mount the TV to the wall and say goodbye to tangled wires! Introduce unexpected shapes or silhouettes to avoid your area becoming a sea of straight lines.
